5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 9.17

League of Legends Patch 9.17 is bringing big changes to Qiyana and Aurelion Sol, so here are our predictions on the 5 best midlaners once the changes go live.
5 Best Mid Laners in League of Legends Patch 9.17
5. Vladimir
What is there to say about Vlad? He has great lane sustain and pushing, he scales well, and he can 1v5 teamfights.
4. Neeko
Neeko received a very small quality of life buff this patch, but she's already in a great position. Her catch makes her a potent threat in the mid-late game and her ultimate gives her the ability to wipe the floor with the enemy team.
3. Sylas
Sylas has been coming back as a jungler in high level play, but the core strengths of his kit apply well in the mid lane as well — especially if he's matched up against immobile casters.
2. Talon
Talon's gameplan is as simple as ever. Shove, roam, gank. Repeat and win the game. With his Assassin Path [E] and Shadow Assault [R] he is difficult to pin down.
1. Fizz
Fizz's winrate has been outstanding ever since his passive got reworked in Patch 9.14. Not only does he hard counter immobile mages, but he's resilient against combo, burst, and damage over time abilities — so pretty much everything.
