By Bao Ha

League of Legends Patch 11.21 is going to hit servers soon this week. Patch 11.21 will be released on Wednesday, Oct. 20 with many confirmed changes finally shifting the meta away from replicating the competitive meta at Worlds. While no supports are receiving changes, some AD carries are being buffed which means the bot lane meta might shift around it.
Here are the five best supports in League of Legends Patch 11.21.

This morning I playtested the Teemo changes and dumpstered. They def feel good.
The last patch was a bit quiet but imo this one has some pretty big changes, especially in the systems. Should be a cool patch all in all but lmk how it looks! pic.twitter.com/HIIq36wetE
5 Best Supports in League of Legends Patch 11.21
1. Rakan
Rakan is expected to rise the ranks of supports in the upcoming patch. Rakan is already a great pick that can synergize with most ADCs, but with the Xayah buffs coming in he will likely become highly present in your games.
2. Leona
Leona is a great pick right now in a meta that is heavily decided by team fights and junglers. Leona is a prime pick that can give your team strong engage potential and good skirmishing.
3. Amumu
Amumu is still seeing success as a support after his mini-rework. His identity is similar to Leona but with the added perk of being able to shoot a second long distance stun if his first bandage toss misses.
4. Sona
Sona is a good pick in solo queue right now after her buffs. A jack of all trades, Sona has great healing, damage, and CC.
5. Blitzcrank
For the first time in awhile, the bot lane has a lack of mobility making Blitzcrank a strong pick.
