League of Legends Patch 11.16 is set to drop on Aug. 11. Big news surrounding the patch has slowly surfaced, with a Sona rework being confirmed to release. That being said, here are five changes we don't want in Patch 11.16.

5 Changes We Don't Want in League of Legends Patch 11.16

1. Sylas is Finally Tame

Sylas received nerfs to his Kingslayer (W) that finally put the relentless healing in his kit in check in Patch 11.15. While his win rate has dropped quite a bit since the change, we don't want Riot to give back Sylas his immortal sustain.

2. Akshan Needs Help, But Not Too Much

Akshan has received a hotfix buff already since his release in Patch 11.15. However, he continues to sit at the worst win rate for any marksmen at 35 percent. Because of this, we can expect to see another shipment of buffs for the new champion in Patch 11.16. Riot Games has had a small tendency to over buff their new champions, so we are hoping that they don't make Akshan too strong.

3. Top Lane Sona

We all remember the brief stunt in season 10 where Sona was a top laner. With the rework to her kit in Patch 11.16, the champion is being brought back to a fresh start in the support role. Hopefully these changes don't recreate a similar monster that was top lane Sona.

4. A New Rotating Game Mode

The current rotating game mode, Ultimate Spellbook has been a big hit with players who have enjoyed playing their favorite champions with a little bit of extra kick in their kits. Ultimate Spellbook will be leaving the game on Aug. 9, and we are not excited for this change. Hopefully Patch 11.16 will replace it with a game mode that players will equally enjoy.

5. LeBlanc Buffs

LeBlanc is receiving the prestige edition of the new upcoming additions to the Coven skin line. Currently, LeBlanc is already the most picked mid laner with a balanced win rate. Buffs to LeBlanc might tip her over the edge.

Patch 11.16 will leave the game quite different from before with a new Sona kit and the removal of Ultimate Spellbook. The last thing we want is for a new set of overpowered champions to take over.
