League of Legends Patch 11.8 is right around the corner and it's sure to come with some changes that will fuel both player excitement and outrage. The game has made a progression towards overall balance but it's still far from perfect.

Here's five things we don't want in League of Legends Patch 11.8.

5 Things We Don't Want in League of Legends Patch 11.8

Classic Champion Reworks

It's been said before and we'll say it again, stop giving us unasked for reworks. Riot's attempt at integrating these forgotten champions back into the game has been relatively unsuccessful outside of casual players picking up Akali again. Time would be better spent balancing out the current landscape of the game than trying to force new champion picks.

Jungle Reworks

For the first time in a long time the jungle role has gotten to a respectable place within the meta. That's saying a lot post mob nerf, but after the Kruggs buff and smite buff they've given junglers a means to keep up with the solo carries. Hopefully we don't see them mess up the foundation that's been built up.

Overpowered Mages

With the addition of Gwen it's possible that we'll see a slight boosts to mages as a group to assure that the new champion can really keep up with the opposition. With any hope if there is a buff given it'll keep an order amongst the champions and not return the mages to their previous glass cannon status.

More Burst Damage

This almost seems like a pipe dream when you think about the entire landscape of season 11. Burst damage directly influences lifesteal and fights are determined by who can burst the pther down the fastest. It's a stale style that has plagued the game this entire season hopefully with the release of the newest patch they'll make a push to decrease its impact on the game.

Item Balance Reworks

I'm not saying this in a way that's discouraging Riot from reworking items, but something has to be done to really shake up the current landscape of the game. After all the changes that've been made it's quite possible that some new items could be the answer. New items come with new approaches to playing and that's something that's desperately needed right now.
