League of Legends Patch 9.15 wasn't a large patch, but the community still saw a sizable change in the mid lane. The mid lane has arguably been the most volatile lane recently. With new champions and new strategies emerging all the time, here are some of the worst ones currently.

5. Viktor

There is a commonality among all the champions on this list and it is because these immobile mages are not in a solid spot as of right now. Viktor is one of these mages that have been tossed to the side in favor of assassins.

4. Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate is another immobile mage that gets countered by a lot of the strong mid laners as of right now. On top of this Twisted Fate gets pushed in by a lot of other champions in the early game.

Ryze has been going through many changes throughout the past year and currently he is not the powerhouse he has been before. Ryze relies a lot on communication and that is something that is not widely available in Solo Queue.

2. Azir

Azir is as immobile as it gets and that is not a good place to be in the current meta. The assassins that fill both the jungle and mid lane right now will make Azir their prey.

Syndra is yet another immobile mage that falls to the assassin meta, and she is not as powerful as the other control mages on this list which puts her as the weakest champion to play in the mid lane.
