EVO 2017 is the most prestigious fighting game tournament in the world; this year they will feature Super Smash Bros Wii. U on their Sunday finals stage at the Mandalay Bay.

This huge stage is unlike anything Smash 4 has seen before, and the event is set to be an extremely competitive and hype tournament.

The Panda Global Ranking Top 50 has been progressively releasing version three of their new list, and it looks like the vast majority of the players will be in attendance at EVO with 42/50 represented at the Summer major.

Notably absent is Tyler "Marss" Martins, who announced he would be skipping the event in response to a tweet by Jason "Anti" Bates:

Also missing is Link pro Isami "T" Ikeda, whose breakout third place finish at 2GGC: Civil War helped propel him into the hearts and minds of many Smash 4 fans.

Even without these notable players, EVO 2017 looks to be one of the most exciting events ever for Smash 4. Stay tuned for what's shaping up to be an incredible event this summer.
