The results are in, and SK Gaming take the finals with a clean 3-0.

Fans had hopes that Cloud9 would be able to keep SK from taking another championship, but their efforts were in vain.

Map one was SK taking a dominating 16-9. Map two looked like the North American team would be able to get themselves back into the game. However, SK showed that they were serious about defending their title as champions and took the map 16-12 after Cloud9 led 10-5 at halftime.

Map three was another mape that looked like it was going in C9's favor, as they once had a 9-1 lead. C9 had a 10-5 lead at the half again, but SK held on until the end, bringing it to 14-14 before securing the map with two quick wins in succession.

SK gaming lift the ESL One Cologne trophy for the second time in a row, and they are truly the strongest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team in the world.
