We may see the iBUYPOWER Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad back in business soon, that is whenever ESL's Vice President, Ulrich Schulze decides to release the information.

In response to an inquiry by steel, Schulze states that he will release the conclusion of their discussions after ESL One Cologne. While there is no formal word on what the meetings pertained to, speculation is strong in the idea that the players will soon be allowed to play.

ESL recently updated their policy on VAC bans and the result favored teams like iBUYPOWER who were caught up in their troubled pasts. The team was caught in a match-fixing scandal that banned four of the five players.

Most of the community wants the players back in the competitive scene, but a few of them have chosen to start casting or analyzing while they wait. Sam "DaZeD" Marine has quickly become an outstanding commentator, but he has decided to take a break until the official news has been shared.
