Another one bites the dust for competitive Overwatch fans. On July 10, Moviestar Riders announced that the Overwatch team would not renew with the organization. A full statement was made on the Moviestar Riders website.

The organization thanked the players who had been a part of the project since January of 2017, and made memorable performances. The team came in seventh place at Overwatch Contenders Season Zero: Europe, they placed first in the GAME Stadium tournament and looked to be bouncing back.

It is a shame to see such a talented team suddenly have their careers thrown into limbo, but they are the latest in a long line of organizations pulling out of the competitive Overwatch scene.

DPS player, Andreas "Logix" Berghmans posted a statement on Twitter, thanking the Moviestar Riders organization for helping them to grow as a team as well as individuals. Logix went on to say that he will write more once he has returned home.
