Fans of Street Fighter will no doubt remember the incredible production for the Street Fighter V top eight Sunday finals at EVO 2017. The tournament also took place on the biggest stage the game had ever seen at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the production, however, was that Street Fighter V top eight was broadcast live on major sports network ESPN2. The scene enjoyed this incredible opportunity, and the top eight was a hype show for the fans.

This year, in exciting news for the scene, Street Fighter V at EVO 2017 will again have its top eight finals broadcast on ESPN2.

ESPN giving the TV spot to EVO once again is decidedly exciting for the fighting game community, as it speaks to more mainstream media attention and the potential for building a bigger audience.

Tune in at 7 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. EDT this Sunday on either Twitch or ESPN2 to catch the action!
