Kelsy "SuperGirlKels" Medeiros had a great run at GOML 2017 in both doubles and singles bracket for Smash Wii U. She is considered the best Sonic player in Canada and among the top of North America, and her passion for the game and positive attitude has garnered her huge support from the rest of the Smash Wii U community.

During Day 2 of GOML 2017, SuperGirlKels announced a partnership with Red Bull, holding a sweet custom Red Bull cap (reminiscent of William "Leffen" Hjelte's famous hat), an awesome custom controller, and hoodie combo for the player.

According to her tweet, the partnership has been made with Red Bull eSports in order to make an amazing future for Canada. And, after GOML 2017's heavy Canadian presence for Smash Wii U, the endeavor is off to a good start.

Although she is not the most well-known player out there for Smash Wii U, she should be. Her combo video from early 2016 is a testament to her skill and she has only improved since then, playing at major tournaments and receiving some great competitive practice.

Not only is SuperGirlKels a great Sonic player, she is also an avid content creator for Smash WIi U.

Her YouTube channel is also full of vlogs and training videos of her going toe-to-toe with top players like Larry "Larry Lurr" Holland.

Although Canada has not yet won their own major on their home turf just yet, players like SuperGirlKels (now backed up by Red Bull, a fantastic sponsor for the Smash scene) are working hard to make it happen.
