After having reached the final at EPICENTER 2017, Virtus.pro are back to playing some mediocre CS:GO. The team has been eliminated from another event, this one being the World Electronic Sports Games Europe Finals in Barcelona.

The Polish side were eliminated after failing to pick up a win in any of their group matches, losing to Belgium and tying with Russia, Team EnVyUs, and GameAgents.

Virtus.pro finished in fourth out of a possible fifth place finish, with Team EnVyUs topping the group followed by Team Russia and Team Belgium. Virtus.pro were held winless in the group and were unable to proceed into the tournament any further.

They haven't exactly set the world on fire in recent months, despite that runner up finish in St. Petersburg, they have been extremely underwhelming and this exit at WESG 2017 in Barcelona will add to the worries around the team.

They have plenty of time to regroup as their next major event is the ELEAGUE Major in Boston between Jan 19-28.
