On the final day of DreamHack Winter 2017, four teams would vie to lift the trophy and take home the grand prize of $50,000. The four teams were: Team EnVyUs, mousesports, Gambit Esports, and Natus Vincere.

The semifinals and grand final were extremely exciting, leading to a return to form for Na`Vi in the grand final. The CIS squad were able to take down mousesports 2-0 in convincing fashion en route to crowning themselves DH Winter 2017 champions.

Not a single series on the day needed more than two games to decide a winner. Na`Vi and mousesports both advanced over Team EnVyUs and Gambit respectively 2-0. From there, it was smooth sailing for Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostlyiev and company as they defeated mouz 16-4 and 16-11 on Cobblestone and Inferno respectively.

Deservedly so, s1mple took home the MVP award along with the tournament trophy. He boasted a ridiculous 2.18 rating on Cobblestone during their rout of mouz. S1mple has been an absolute all-star for Na`Vi all year long and it's good to see him take him a trophy.

Moving forward, hopefully Na`Vi can continue to see success after acquiring Denis "electronic" Sharipov from FlipSid3 Tactics.
