Day 1 has passed, and it's now time to set our sights on Day 2 of the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals.

The group stage is still going strong, and the teams of Group Red are playing their hearts out in hopes of securing a spot in the playoffs. There's a lot of great Counter-Strike coming up tomorrow, so read ahead for a full breakdown of Group Red's second day.

Day 2 Matches
  • SK Gaming vs Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • North vs OpTic
  • Misfits vs Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • SK Gaming vs NRG Esports
  • SK Gaming vs Misfits
  • North vs Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • NRG Esports vs OpTic Gaming

Breaking it Down

While Group Red was no where near as surprising as Group Yellow, there were still a few unexpected victories (and losses) thrown into the mix. SK Gaming, for example, fell to OpTic Gaming while NRG managed to defeat NiP. These were very surprising losses for both SK and NiP, and they definitely want to improve on their performances.

Expect both of these teams to come back with a vengeance as they fight to secure their playoff spots.

Based on their performances yesterday, OpTic should be able to take out North who haven't really been playing up to their full potential. NRG should be able to give OpTic a run for their money though, especially after their outstanding game against NiP on Day 1.

The first Group Red match will take place at 10:15 a.m EST between SK Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas. It will be broadcast live on the ESL Counter-Strike official YouTube channel, and it will also be archived for later viewing.
