As day two comes to a close, we are left with our initial playoff picture. While the first quarterfinal matchup between Fnatic and OpTic Gaming seems mostly normal, the second one is not normal by any means.

These are two teams who have never been to this stage of the EPL before, and they beat out top teams such as Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas to reach where they are today. This match is sure to be intense, so let's get to breaking it down.

Breaking It Down

As previously stated, these teams are both totally new to this stage of the ESL Pro League. They both no doubt want to perform their best, and will likely be coming out full force, guns blazing, in an attempt to win. Both teams are full of young talent, including Sean "seang@res" Gares and Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan on Misfits, as well as Issa "ISSA" Murad and Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow on HellRaisers.

ANGE1 clearly isn't a "young" talent at this point, being 28 years old, and his twelve years of professional Counter-Strike experience are no doubt a vital part of HellRaisers success. He is an excellent player to have as the in-game leader on what is a relatively inexperienced team.

It will be exciting to see what sort of strategy these teams use against each other, however, whoever wins is going to have a tough time against SK Gaming in the semifinals.

The match will be broadcast live on the ESL Counter-Strike official YouTube channel. The match should be starting around 1:50 p.m EST, immediately following the match between Fnatic and OpTic Gaming. Also, feel free to check out our YouTube Channel for more CS:GO content.
