Jakob "YamatoCannon" Mebdi, the new head coach of Team Vitality, played detective in the reveal of the team's new roster for the 2018 season. Set in a film noir style fitting for a French team, the roster itself gave us some neat surprises to go with the mood.

The new Team Vitality will see the return of Lucas "Cabochard " Simon-Meslet and see newcomers Erberk "Gilius" Demir (jungle), Daniele "Jiizuké" di Mauro (midlane), Amadeu "Minitroupax" Carvalho (ad carry) and Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzyński (support) join the team. All four newcomers have spent time together on Giants Gaming.

Regarding the new roster, YamatoCannon said, “I have built a roster with a very clear common denominator, hunger and motivation that have not been seen before on this scene. I am certain we will grow at a rapid rate, faster than any other team in the EULCS. In Western esports, comfort breeds weakness and the work ethic of a team defines it's success, so I am very excited about the mix of leaders and rookies we have going into 2018."

The new roster will make their debut on January 19 in their first match against H2K.
