The NA LCS is finally in full swing, and teams have made their debut on stage after Week 1. Some teams surprised the fans as other teams delivered what we expected. Week 2 is just around the corner and the battle for first place is only just beginning.

Battle for First

The top four teams will face off against each other Saturday, starting with Echo Fox playing against Cloud9. Echo Fox shocked the stage in its season opener, crushing FlyQuest and Clutch Gaming. This team might be stronger than many expected, and Cloud9 will have to bring its A game in order to compete.

Team Liquid playing 100 Thieves could be the most hyped match of the week. Both had a great performance in the first week, and Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng faces his former support Zaqueri "Aphromoo" Black, and Kim "Olleh" Joo-Sung clashes with his former AD Carry Cody "Cody Sun" Sun. This matchup has plenty of outside fun to it.

Rise of TSM

Team Solomid starting off the season with a 0-2 record shocked fans, as it also marked the first time TSM went winless in Week 1 since the NA LCS started. If you told me last year that TSM had to face against tied-for-first place Echo Fox for their first win, I wouldn't have believed you. Could TSM bounce back after their disappointing week two? Or will Echo Fox stay at the top and potentially sit at first place?

From the Bottom to the Top

Four teams are sitting at the bottom of the standings, and now is the time to turn it all around. OpTic's first match of the week is against TSM. Counter Logic Gaming faces off against Clutch Gaming and Golden Guardians, who are also at the bottom. TSM and CLG could possibly pick up their first wins of the season, and that could be the turning point in their standings for the rest of the season.
