4 Matches to Watch for NA LCS Week 3

It's time for Week 3, and we're ready for the games to begin. To help ease your troubles of deciding which matches to devote your time to, we've made a little list of the four matches we think are the most worth watching.

4. Cloud9 vs. OpTic Gaming

While Cloud9 is doing their usual rounds of being one of the top, possibly Worlds-bound teams in the NA LCS, OpTic is still making their way into the LCS and trying to establish themselves.

Whether it'll just be another loss for OpTic and another win under C9's belt is yet to be seen, but one thing's for sure: the mid matchup will definitely be one to watch for.

This match is set to take place at 6:00 p.m. EST on Saturday.

3. Counter Logic Gaming vs. Echo Fox

One of the oldest teams in NA set against what is arguably the strongest team in the NA LCS right now? Sign us up.

With the loss of shotcaller and support, Zaqueri "aphromoo" Black, and the arrival of newcomer Vincent "Biofrost" Wang, Counter Logic Gaming is looking to be what is perhaps the weakest we've seen them at in years. Will they be able to pull it together against FOX?

This match is set to take place at 5:00 p.m. EST on Saturday.

2. FlyQuest vs. Team Liquid

Team Liquid is looking the strongest we've ever seen them and FlyQuest definitely hasn't put their best foot forward.

But we think this match will be worth watching not only for Jung "Impact" Eon-yeong matching up against Lee "Flame" Ho-jong, but also for Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng versus Jason "WildTurtle" Tran.

And then, of course, there's Flame taking on ex-Immortals players.

This match is set to take place at 8:00 p.m. EST on Saturday.

1. Team SoloMid vs. 100 Thieves

It's a reverse-Cinderella story.

TSM is immensely struggling and 100 Thieves was the fearsome team that some suspected, but most were skeptical. With TSM having gotten their act together somewhat in Week 2 with their first win against OpTic, they still have a long way to go before they can reclaim their throne as the kings of NA.

Their match against 100T is just one of the obstacles on their long road back to the throne. That is, if they even make it to the throne.

This match is set to take place at 6:00 p.m. EST on Sunday.
