4 EU LCS Matches to Watch in Week 3

Week 2 of the NA LCS concluded with top organizations sitting at the bottom of the standings and new teams rising to the top. Four teams are tied for first place: Vitality, ROCCAT, Giants Gaming and Misfits, all of them sitting comfortably with at 3-1. Unicorns of Love are the only team without a victory, Week 3 could be the time for them to bounce back and take a game off of a team. Here are four matches you cannot miss this week in the EU LCS.

4. Unicorns of Love vs. H2K

As mentioned before, UoL has yet to find a victory. This week's game against H2K will indeed prove if UoL can respectably contend this split.

These two teams are sitting at the bottom of the barrel, and none of them wants to be the team that sits in 10th the entire split. Both have a lot to prove this game.

3. Giants Gaming vs. ROCCAT

Both rosters have shown up onstage and exceeded expectations so far, even defeating the reigning champions, G2 Esports. These two teams are tied for first and will decide who will be sitting at the top while the other follows.

We have to keep a close eye on the bottom lane because if Pierre "Steeelback" Medjaldi gets ahead, he's going to dominate the rest of the game.

2. FC Schalke 04 vs Team Vitality

Veterans versus rookies. Schalke has been one of the teams to watch after their strong performance in the promotional tournament back in 2017. Elias "Upset" Lipp is the only member left of the original Schalke roster, and to be honest, they're looking a lot better with fresh new teammates. EU LCS Veteran Erlend "Nukeduck" Våtevik Holm faces one of EU's rising star players Daniele "Jiizuke" di Mauro. This will be a true test for Jiizuke, if he can go toe-to-toe with a Veteran like Nukeduck, he should have no problem  for the rest of the split.

1. Fnatic vs Misfits

The EU LCS 2017 Summer Split Semifinals rematch. Both of these organizations have made slight roster changes, but the synergy still remains. Fnatic suffered a devastating loss to Misfits back in the 2017 Summer Split playoffs with a final score of 1-3. Fnatic has been in a slight slump, while Misfits are full with confidence after defeating Vitality.

Fnatic have to do whatever it takes to defeat one of their toughest competitors. Winning this match could be the turning point for the organization for the rest of the split.
