Jdm has played with the Liquid organization for more than a year and a half as a primary AWPer, originally joining after an even longer stint with the original Counter Logic Gaming core. Just a month after arriving to Liquid, the team made it to the finals of ESL One Cologne 2016. At the time, it was the furthest a North American team had advanced in a Valve-sponsored Major tournament. It can be expected that jdm64 will have significant interest from other organizations as a main AWPer.
After NAF left Team Liquid, he bounced around before playing with the core of players who introduced OpTic Gaming to CS:GO. He spent nearly two years as a member of OpTic and was instrumental to the team’s ELEAGUE Season 2 championship. He joined Renegades in September in attempt to bolster an underpowered lineup. Renegades failed to qualify for the New Legends stage of the ELEAGUE Boston Major, finishing 2-3 in the New Challengers stage.
Team Liquid was unable to play with recent addition Lucas “steel” Lopes at the ELEAGUE Boston Major because of his participation in the online Minor qualifier with his former Immortals teammates. Instead, Liquid had to use Wilton “zews” Prado and qualified for the New Legends Stage.
Team Liquid did not initially respond to request for comment.
