French esports organization Team Vitality has just earned itself €2.5 million in a round of investments. Best known for its teams in League of Legends, Rainbow Six, and PUBG, Team Vitality has its eyes set on expanding its reach to other competitive games and acquiring more players.
According to their CEO, Nicolas Maurer, "Vitality's ambition is to become an undisputed European leader whose teams participate in all the major professional esports leagues."
The money comes in the forms of investment companies like Korelya Capital, Kima Ventures, and H26.
With a huge exchange of money like this, Vitality certainly has the resources to rock the European gaming scene, and perhaps even the international scene.
