As reported yesterday by DeKay, Astralis officially announced that Emil "Magisk" Reif has joined its starting CS:GO roster replacing Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjaerbye.
The former North and OpTic Gaming rifler was reported to be joining the ELEAGUE Major: Atlanta champions after Kjaerbye made a shock move to North. Astralis officially confirmed Magisk's arrival earlier today.
According to Dust2.dk, Magisk's buyout from OpTic cost the Danish side $150,000. Fans were hoping for Dennis "dennis" Edman or Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke to be announced, however, Magisk perhaps is the most skilled out of the three players.
Astralis is set to play in ESL Pro League Season 7 and the roster's first offline event is scheduled to be StarSeries i-League Season 4. The roster is also confirmed for IEM Katowice at the end of February.
