The London Spitfire announced Wednesday head coach Lee "Bishop" Beom-joon has left the team.
Bishop was a part of the London Spitfire since its beginning. He was a part of Cloud9 and moved to the Cloud9 KongDoo roster once Cloud9 acquired KongDoo Panthera. Once Cloud9 secured its spot in the Overwatch League, Bishop then moved with the roster to form the London Spitfire.
"London Spitfire has today parted ways with coach Beom-joon “Bishop” Lee. Bishop was instrumental in the formation of the Spitfire line-up, finding two of the world's best Overwatch rosters, GC Busan and KongDoo Panthera, and fusing them into a single unit which was crowned Overwatch League Stage 1 champions," the post read.
Bisho is the second coach to depart this week, as the Shanghai Dragons parted ways with a coach earlier in the week.
The London Spitfire let go of two players during the Overwatch League's transfer window prior to Stage 2. Baek "Fissure" Chan-hyung and Kim "Rascal" Dong-jun transferred to the Los Angeles Gladiators and the Dallas Fuel respectively.
The London Spitfire won Stage 1 of the Overwatch League and is third in the Overwatch League's standings, just behind the Seoul Dynasty and the New York Excelsior.
