Félix "xQc" Lengyel had a warning that he was going to be released from the Dallas Fuel's Overwatch roster the night before it occurred.

Rod "Slasher" Breslau posted on his Twitter account that he warned xQc that his sources told him that the Dallas Fuel were "strongly considering releasing him." Slasher also stated that the sources have made the claim that the team was "exploring options for releasing/selling both Taimou and Cocco."

XQc found himself in trouble with the Overwatch League once again after xQc was found to be using an emote in a racist way on stream and using inappropriate language towards players and casters on stream. He was fined $4,000 by the league and eventually dropped from the Dallas Fuel for his actions.

XQc has returned to streaming Overwatch full-time and has not made any announcement of future plans with the Overwatch League.
