The Overwatch League team, LA Valiant, has taken it upon themselves to create a more comfortable space for people from all walks of life.
Introducing "Be Valiant" an event series, that "embraces and celebrates all people in gaming, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, how long you’ve played, or what game you play."
To celebrate the diversity of the vibrant Los Angeles community, we're proud to present: #BEVALIANT ; an event series designed around gaming for everyone.— Los Angeles Valiant 👼 (@LAValiant) March 12, 2018

The Overwatch League has already dealt with some heavy topics which is surprising as this is its inaugural season. They've had players fined and suspended while dealing with toxic behavior from the community. This is exactly the type of thing that the Overwatch League desperately needs. Some shining light to bring in joy and happiness to fans and players alike. Remind players and members of the community that we are all nerds looking to have fun and kick butt.
The first event should start off with a bang as they unveil the Community Block Party at the Valiant Campus on March 24.
