Epitácio "TACO" de Melo has announced in a TwitLonger post that he will no longer be a part of SK Gaming.

It's never a good day when a dynasty-level team loses a player.

TACO wrote in the post, "A few weeks ago, I noticed I wasn’t happy anymore. A few days ago, I decided to look for that same happiness I used to feel before playing, and I wasn’t feeling that anymore, even though it’d cost me the decision of leaving the team I helped succeed and turn into one of the best teams to play this game."

He went on to reflect on his time with the team and thanked his teammates for the time he spent with them.

The announcement adds strength to an earlier Flickshot report that Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Egor "flamie" Vasilyev are in talks to join SK Gaming. TACO was named in the report as one of the players that would be replaced in the deal along with Ricardo "boltz" Prass.

SK Gaming has not had a significant victory since the team's win at ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals. The team's latest outing was an embarrassing 17-22nd finish at the World Electronic Sports Games last week.

UPDATE: March 22 8:45 pm EST.

The original deal was made for s1mple to replace TACO, but at s1mple's request, flamie had to come too, so boltz was replaced.
