The Los Angeles Valiant acquired Jun-hyeok “Bunny” Chae on Saturday. The team bought the contract for Bunny from Seoul Dynasty.

The 19-year-old South Korean played in Overwatch APEX with BK Stars and later Lunatic Hai. He then signed with the Seoul Dynasty as a part of the Overwatch League. The LA Valiant plan to play Bunny as a DPS Main.

LA Valiant has been a subject of many trade rumors heading into Stage 3. One of the biggest rumors had Terence "SoOn" Tarlier and Benjamin "uNKOE" Chevasson being considered for trade or sale. The rumor then developed to include Dallas Fuel player, Scott "Custa" Kennedy. The latest on the LA Valiant now has Kang-jae "envy" Lee, Ted "silkthread" Wang, and Christopher "GrimReality" Schaefer on the trading block.

The LA Valiant has seen a drop in its performance from Stage 1 to Stage 2. The team ended Stage 1 with a 4th place finish and a 7-3 record. In Stage 2, the team dropped to 8th and has a 4-6 record.
