Chinese players from the Flash Gaming and ViCi Gaming organizations will merge to create a new lineup, according to multiple sources. The full five-person lineup is expected to become: YuLun "Summer" Cai, YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng, Kunhua "LOVEYY" Bai, WeiJie "zhokiNg" Zhong, and Wing Hei "Freeman" Cheung. At this time it is expected that the full lineup will eventually play under the ViCi Gaming banner following an official announcement.

Flash Gaming was a last-minute addition to the ELEAGUE Major: Boston last January after TyLoo withdrew from the event. But the team had to compete with its former lineup at the time because of Valve’s roster lock rules and finished in last place alongside Flipsid3 Tactics. Since the event, Flash has found limited success and narrowly missed qualifying for the DreamHack Marseille Chinese Closed Asian Qualifier.

ViCi has routinely beaten Flash Gaming in recent months, winning a matchup to qualify for the WESG 2017 LAN Finals. Ultimately, ViCi would fail to win a map and finished last place at the event. According to one source, ViCi gaming veteran Bin "Savage" Liu already has a new five-person lineup in place and has begun practice with them.

Neither ViCi Gaming nor Flash Gaming could initially be reached for comment.
