Blizzard's annual BlizzCon returns later this year on Nov. 2-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center, according to an announcement by Blizzard.

Tickets for the convention will be sold in two waves. The first wave of tickets go on sale on May 9, approximately at 7 p.m P.T. The next wave of tickets go on sale on May 12 at 10 a.m P.T.

BlizzCon is a convention held by Blizzard that promotes its biggest franchises, such as Overwatch. Not only does the convention have exclusive panels with the people behind Blizzard's best-selling games, but BlizzCon is also the home for many esports championships of Blizzard games. The Overwatch World Cup, for example, has concluded its playoffs at BlizzCon every year.

Blizzard might bring back Virtual Tickets later this year, too. Virtual Tickets allow those interested in the convention to experience the panels, performances and more all from the comfort of their own home.
