The Ninjas in Pyjamas have been invited to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Asia Championships, making them the third team invited to the competition.

The Ninjas in Pyjamas have not been able to secure a win since the team's victory at IEM Oakland in November. The team's latest outing saw them finish in 5th-6th place at IEM Katowice and 7th-8th place at cs_summit. They will likely be hungry for a win coming into this competition.

Weeks ago, Perfect World announced it would be hosting a new CS:GO tournament called the CS:GO Asia Championships. PGL also added that it would be partnering with Perfect World for the event. The tournament will feature a $300,000 prize pool and the event will take place in Shanghai, China.
