The 2018 EU LCS Spring Split recently concluded with Fnatic in dominating fashion taking the first seed over G2 Esports. For some of the regions, the spring split has ended and there will be a break between the professional play and the next major tournament. The Mid-Season Invitational will be the next tournament that will put the top of the teams from each region against each other.
Fnatic will be representing the European region, while Team Liquid will be representing North America in the tournament. In light of all this, Fnatic has been boot-camping in Korea recently, in preparation for MSI as reported.
Fnatic's star AD Carry, Martin "Rekkles" Larrson has dominated the solo queue ladder by reaching the rank of Masters in just two days. Rekkles even pulls off a well-executed 1v3 play against Korean superstar, mid laner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok.
Starting from an average MMR of Diamond 3, Rekkles has played around 60 games so far to reach this point. Rekkles has absurd win rates on champions such as Tristana, Xayah, and Kaisa, all being over 70 percent. His highest win rate currently is on, Jhin, with a whopping 80 percent.
Putting in the amount of time and work is one of the reasons why he was voted to be the 2018 Spring Split MVP of the season. Fnatic look to be an extremely powerful team to compete against for the other regions.
