The founder of Flickshot_fr, neL, reported that OpTic Gaming spent close to $1 million after picking up Jakob "JUGi" Hansen and Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, along with Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and René "cajunb" Borg.

JUGi and Snappi were both picked up from Heroic for close to $500,000. The two players were rumored to have been brought to OpTic to create this new Danish lineup

Nicklas "gade" Gade is currently on loan from North Academy, but that might change with North's new decision. Following the report that North will be putting the Academy project on hold, his status is a bit unclear. There is no official report on whether he will stay on loan with OpTic, or move to North's lineup.

OpTic has put a lot of money on the line of this new CS:GO lineup, but adding the two best players from Heroic is a smart move.
