An Overwatch League match between the Philadelphia Fusion and the Shanghai Dragons got into a little controversy as Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee teabagged his opponent Gi-hyeon “Ado” Chon after getting the kill. The taunt was met with boos from the Arena watchers.

The conversation on the taunt was met with more hostility with some suggesting he should be ruled out of the MVP award or even suspended for the act. Personalities in esports like Richard Lewis and Rod "Slasher" Breslau were also brought into the discussion.

Everybody wanted to weigh in on the ridiculousness of gaming.

Carpe has a history of teabagging his opponents with Dallas Fuel player Hyeon “Effect” Hwang being his last victim in February. The backlash was non-existent during that instance. The bad-mannered move could have struck a chord with the audience as it came against one of the worst teams in the league.

Philadephia Fusion issued internal punishments to discipline Josue "Eqo" Corona after he acted inappropriately in his stream by mockingly slanting his eyes. No such punishment has been announced by the Fusion for Carpe's actions.
