​PSG.LGD, ​one of the underrated teams in Dota 2, became the EPICENTER XL champion Sunday, after beating Team Liquid in a 3-1 victory to win the series. The team won $500,000 and 750 Dota Pro Circuit points. It isn't underrate anymore!

​​PSG.LGD won the championship by staying in the upper bracket all the way through. It came out of the group stage with a 4-1 record, losing only to Team Liquid in Group A. PSG.LGD's second big test was beating No. 1 seed, Virtus.pro, which it did, 2-1, in the first round of the upper bracket.


The upper bracket finals saw PSG.LGD beat Team Liquid 2-0 to ​advance to the grand final. Team Liquid made its way back to the grand final by beating surging FlyToMoon in a 2-1 victory. Despite losing to PSG.LGD, Team Liquid was still able to secure its spot at the International 8.

Xu "fy" Linsen, captain and position four player for PSG.LGD, was awarded the MVP of EPICENTER XL. PSG.LGD's focus now shifts to the ​MDL Changsha Major and the China Dota 2 Supermajor, as the team moves to secure its spot at the International 8.
