SK Gaming will become the 16th and final team to attend the StarLadder StarSeries i-League Season 5 COunter-Strike event later this month, the organizer announced Wednesday.


The event suffered from teams such as G2 esports, FaZe Clan, Cloud9 and Fnatic declining to attend the event. Three ​were replaced by North, Virtus.pro, ​Renegades, and Gambit respectively. SK Gaming's addition to the list of teams completes the 16-team field that will compete in the event.


SK Gaming will join  ​Team Liquid, ​mousesports, Natus Vincere, ​Ninjas in Pyjamas, GODSENT, AGO Esports, NRG Esports, Virtus.pro, Renegades, North, Gambit, TyLoo, VG.FlashGaming, AVANGAR and HellRaisers. 


StarSeries i-League Season 5 has a prize pool of $300,000. It will begin on May 28 with group stages, and proceed to the playoffs on June 2-3 in Kiev, Ukraine.
