Choi "ChoiHyoBin" Hyobin, one of the newest players for the San Francisco Shock, arrived in California on Tuesday ahead of the start of Overwatch League Stage 4.
The San Francisco Shock announced the signing of ChoiHyoBin in April. He was formerly a part of X6 Gaming and is also a former teammate of one of the San Francisco Shock's newest players, Park "Architect" Min-ho.
ChoiHyoBin is a flex player commonly playing Roadhog and D.Va. His addition to the team could help the San Francisco Shock maintain a strong start for the beginning of Stage 4.
After a week break since the New York Excelsior was crowned the champion of Stage 3, Stage 4 returns Wednesday. The San Francisco Shock play the Los Angeles Gladiators as the first match of the night. Shock ended last stage fifth in the stage standings, barely missing the cutoffs for the Stage 3 playoffs. The team is ranked ninth in the overall standings combining all three stages.
