Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 3-1 Saturday afternoon in the Champions League final securing its third straight CL title in as many years. The highlight of the Spanish side's performance had to be forward Gareth Bale's insane bicycle kick in the 65th minute of the match.
The Welsh forward came on as a sub in the game and delivered in a huge way. He buried the shot in the top left corner of the net and took the lead for Real Madrid. In doing so, EA Sports should reward Bale with a commemorative FIFA Ultimate Team 18 card.
Shots like that come along once in a blue moon, if that, and to deliver in the biggest stage in European club soccer makes the feat even more impressive. Not to mention, he did it as a substitute player.
Reward the man and honor this amazing goal and moment in Champions League and Real Madrid history.
