After the conclusion of China Dota 2 Supermajor, the Dota Pro Circuit for the year has concluded and will move onto The International 8 qualifiers.

Here's a look at the final DPC rankings:

The magic number to be mathematically qualified for an invitation went down from 3,172 points to 1935 over the course of the China Dota 2 Supermajor. PSG.LGD, Virtus.pro, Team Liquid and Team Secret reached the threshold to be invited to The International 8 before the Supermajor. Team Liquid came away as the winner of the China Dota Supermajor.

Four teams were in the hunt for the TI8 invite and needed to do enough to stay in their position.  Mineski, Newbee, ViCi Gaming, were the next teams to qualify after doing just enough to stay safe.

VGJ.Thunder and OpTic Gaming were locked in a battle for the final spot. Unfortunately for OpTic Gaming, the team was not able to overcome Virtus.pro and VGJ. Thunder secured the final invite spot.

With the TI8 invites now locked, the Dota 2 action will move on to the TI8 open qualifiers. The TI8 qualifiers will run from June 14-25. The open qualifiers will be first from June 14-17 move into the regional qualifiers from June 18-25.

The International 8 is scheduled to begin Aug. 20-25.
