During Nintendo's press conference at E3 on Tuesday, the company revealed that Epic Games' battle royal Fortnite will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Fortnite for Nintrendo Switch will be available starting Tuesday for free.

The game will be available for download on the Nintendo eShop at 1 p.m. ET Tuesday, just one hour after the announcement premiered on Twitch.

The reveal comes after heavy speculation from the community, and is expected to generate an enormous amount of hype for an already wildly successful game. The game was leaked last week, and it appears to have come true.

This reveal deals another blow against Fortnite's primary competition, PUBG Corp.'s PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, as that game remains locked in a console exclusivity deal with Microsoft's Xbox One and Xbox One X.
