Gambit Gaming has been invited to the DreamHack Masters Stockholm event in August.

The CIS region team has been somewhat underwhelming these past few months and has been unable to get its feet off the ground. Gambit Gaming has been unable to take home the titles at some of the smaller DreamHack events lately such as DreamHack Tours and DreamHack Summer. Along with this, Gambit also failed to get a single win at the Starseries I-League Season 5 event in Kiev, Ukraine and finished in last place.

Despite adding Nikolay "mir" Bityukov to the team's roster in place of Denis "seized" Kostin, the team has been unable to find good results. The team's last good placing was at the last DreamHack Masters event in Marseille when it made the semifinals with seized.

DreamHack Masters Stockholm is set to take place from Aug. 29 through Sept. 2 this year at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden. Gambit is the ninth team to be announced for the event which will contain the best-of-the-best teams in the CS:GO scene. $250,000 will be on the line and Gambit will have to play well to receive a good chunk of that.
