Royal Never Give Up's Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao will take a break from competitive League of Legends play, according to a post on Weibo shared by the team Wednesday.

Following advice from a doctor, Uzi will spend some time recuperating from the pressure and League of Legends practice of the LPL spring split, according to the post. RNG emphasized that the break would be brief but necessary for Uzi to return to form.

Uzi has been an instrumental part of RNG's success, as his highlight-worthy plays helped to lead the team to a win in this year's Mid-Season Invitational. He was also instrumental in the success of LPL over LCK in Rift Rivals Sunday.

In the past, Uzi has been forced to miss play because of a wrist injury, but no official statement has been given as to the nature of his current injury.

RNG is set to play its next game of the LPL summer split Friday against Oh My God.
