A new DMR, the SLR, arrived on PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS for Xbox One live servers Tuesday as part of PUBG Xbox Update #17.

The SLR is one of PUBG's designated marksman rifles, or DMRs. It uses 7.62 millimeter ammo and contains 10 bullets per magazine (20 bullets when extended). Players can find it alongside normal world loot, and it's more powerful than the SKS but has more recoil.

The new rifle arrived alongside a slew of balance changes, improvements to grenades, new weapon attachments and a new car: the Mirado. While the Mirado is only available on Miramar, the SLR is available on all three of PUBG's maps.

The SLR and the rest of PUBG for Xbox's new additions hit test servers Wednesday and spent a little less than a week in testing even after PUBG Corp. extended the testing period until 6 a.m. ET Tuesday. The changes hit live servers later that same day.
