Sweeping changes for many Overwatch heroes entered the game's Public Test Region on Wednesday, hours after Geoff Goodman said almost every support hero might be tweaked. Doomfist, Hanzo, Reinhardt, Widowmaker and Zarya received tweaks not previously addressed by Goodman.

In all, 11 Overwatch heroes received changes, though tweaks to Ana, Brigitte, Lucio, Moira and Mercy were already mentioned by Goodman. Here's an overview of the changes:

--Doomfist's Rocket Punch no longer impacts Symmetra's teleporter and destroys

Symmetra’s sentry turrets without stopping his movement.

--The cooldown on Hanzo's Lunge increased from four to five seconds.

--The decorative insignia on Reinhardt's Barrier Field no longer protrudes from the shield’s surface.

--The cooldown on Widowmaker's Grappling Hook increased from eight to 10 seconds.

--The drain rate of Zarya's Energy reduced from 2 per second to 1.6 per second, and the radius of Graviton Surge was reduced from eight to six meters.

"With the reduced Energy drain rate, Zarya should be at higher energy on average resulting in more overall damage and quicker ultimate charge times," Blizzard wrote in the PTR patch notes. "We’ve also decreased the wide area of Graviton Surge, so players are more able to aid allies without being pulled in as well."

The changes to support champions stemmed a cursory look at all heroes, Goodman said, in the hope of making sure they're all competitive with each other.
