PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS developer PUBG Corp announced an event taking place at the PUBG Global Invitation called PGI Charity Showdown. The event features professionals and streamers known in the community.

​​Streams like Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, who is considerably active within the ​Fortnite: Battle Royale community and rising ​esports scene, will compete in the PGI Charity Showdown.

"The PGI Charity Showdown combines some of the biggest streamers from around the world with professional players competing in the tournament," the post read. "Each squad will face off to earn money for the charity of their choice, with a $1 million total prize pool."

​PUBG Corp named Michael "shroud" Grzasiek and Guy "DrDisRespect" Beahhm as other notable streamers competing at the charity event at ​PGI 2018.

Real life PUBG crates ​were spotted in Berlin ahead of the event, which will be held July 25-29. There is a prize pool of $2 million for the event, with 20 teams participating in total.
