Inactive Kinguin AWPer Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek is in serious discussions with AGO Esports to join the organization, according to multiple sources close to the player and team. He would fill the void left by Michał "snatchie" Rudzki, who was announced Thursday as the newest member of Virtus.pro, as originally reported by DBLTAP.

SZPERO most recently played professionally on a one month loan with tomorrow.gg in June, where the team beat AGO Esports in Polska Liga Esportowa S3. Prior to that loan, SZPERO was moved to inactive on Kinguin in January with teammate Kacper "kap3r" Słoma. During his year and a half of activity with the Kingiun organization, SZPERO helped them to a runner up finish at WESG 2016 as well as a few playoff appearances at international events during that window.

Arguably the best Polish team in 2018, AGO will look to build upon performances like their quarterfinal run at StarSeries Season 5 against North, where AGO lost over three maps. The team was able to battle out of ESL Pro League relegation last season, beating both Windigo and EnVyUs to claim a spot for Season 8.

AGO Esports could not initially be reached for comment.
