NotVived took home the crown in the fourth week of the eight week Summer Skirmish event that is taking over Fortnite this summer. After winning the first week of the series and this past week, Vivid has become the first player to win in two different weeks.
The format for the event was the Hold the Throne format, where players try to acquire the most points to win. A Victory Royale is two points, second or third place is one point, four or more eliminations is one point and the most eliminations is a single match delivers one point and a $50,000 prize.
NotVived won by gaining nine points which were made up of two Victory Royales, other high placings and four or higher kill games. Jake "Poach" Brumleve gained seven points in the event and was just short of winning, placing second. The extra $50,000 prize for the most eliminations in a match was awarded to Reverse2k.
NotVived's cut of the $500,000 event for first place is a handsome $67,500 that he can have to himself. NotVived is currently not with an esports organization and has been looking for one in the recent weeks.
NotVived is starting to show that he is one of the best Fortnite players in the world with his victories in the Summer Skirmish.
