Every Dota 2 team competing at The International 8 has secured visas for each player, according to Team Secret manager Matthew "Cyborgmatt" Bailey.

Team Secret's manager updated fans through Twitter to inform them on the status of other teams who were waiting on visa approvals for the Dota 2 event.

"All of the teams competing have secured their visas for Canada," he said.

At the end of July, he revealed Team Secret secured visas for each of its players.

There are 18 teams with players from around the world competing at The International 8. Because the event is held in Vancouver, Canada, it is necessary for the teams to get visas for all players so they can compete. Visa problems are a common occurrence in esports and have especially been troublesome in Dota 2, where at least one team has run into trouble in the last few years.

The International 8 begins Wednesday and will run until Aug. 25.
