The giant purple cube is on the move in Fortnite: Battle Royale once again, this time heading west. In its path it left behind a rune scorched into the ground, and will leave behind more runes, according to a Fortnite data miner.
The cube left a rune burned into the ground as it moved! According to this picture it'll move 6 more times and leave 6 more runes burned in the ground before reaching a lake and then activating pic.twitter.com/YuboXcZauN— Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks (@FNBRLeaks) August 29, 2018
The mysterious Fortnite purple cube might be close to getting figured out, as a Fortnite data miner revealed it will leave behind seven runes before reaching a lake, potentially Loot Lake, where it will then activate.
No one knows exactly what will happen when the cube activates, but if it's going to be anything like the Fortnite rocket launch, or beginning of Season 5, the Fortnite: Battle Royale map is in for a change.
Since the cube's destination could be Loot Lake, is fair to speculate that Epic Games will be changing Loot Lake to make it a more appealing destination, much like it did with Tomato Town and Moisty Mire.
