KuKi was officially transferred to the Los Angeles Valiant Friday. He played in the Overwatch League as a tank player for the Seoul Dynasty, which ended the season in eighth place in the inaugural season standings.
"We're excited to add KuKi as a veteran presence to our young tank core," Los Angeles Valiant general manager Michael Schwartz said. "In addition to creating depth in our front line, his knowledge and professionalism is a valued asset to the development of our roster."
KuKi lived in America for a few years and can speak English well. Because the Los Angeles Gladiators have English-speaking players, unlike Dynasty which consists of a full Korean roster, his English will be important in perfecting the team's communication for the upcoming season.
The Los Angeles Valiant also acquired Chae "Bunny" Jun-hyeok, another former Dynasty player, earlier in Season 1.
