A report from VPEsports on Sunday noted that Red Reserve player Simon “twist” Eliasson is expected to join Fnatic, which DBLTAP can also now confirm. Twist will technically fill the void left by Robin "flusha" Rönnquist, who has joined Cloud9. Joining Fnatic in June, Draken and Fnatic struggled to make deep playoff runs at offline events. At DreamHack Stockholm and the FACEIT Major: London, Fnatic failed to make the playoffs.
Prior to his time on Fnatic, Draken played for more than a year with Ninjas in Pyjamas. The team found mixed success on various occasions, such as an IEM Oakland victory over FaZe Clan in a best-of five final. During the a majority of his time there, NiP also failed to make deep runs in the playoffs of premier LAN tournaments.
UPDATE (10:03 a.m. ET): Fnatic has confirmed the benching of Draken. The team said twist will replace draken in the lineup, though it still has one opening in the roster with flusha joining Cloud9.
